Man Sentenced In ATM Scheme

One man is being sentenced for  involvement in an ATM-skimming scheme in Massachusetts and other  states.

The U.S. Justice Department says a group of individuals  installed skimming devices in Amherst, Chicopee, Southwick, and Whatley,  as well as six other Massachusetts cities, in Enfield, Connecticut, and  elsewhere over an 18-month period.

Nicusor Bonculescu, a Romanian  national, was sentenced on Tuesday to three years in prison after he  pleaded guilty in March to charges including racketeering and identity  theft.

Two other Romanian nationals, Suedin Chiciu and Florinel Vaduv,  also entered guilty pleas yesterday in connection to the case and will  be sentenced later, according to the DOJ.
