Springfield and Chicopee Police are investigating separate shootings.
In Springfield, a Sunday morning shooting on Waltham Street sent one man to the hospital in critical condition.
Police have said very little other than that the victim is male.
Meantime in Chicopee, police spokesman Mike Wilk tells us that someone fired off six shots on Wolfe Street which is near the Chicopee Springfield line.
Wilk says a house and a car was hit.
He says that the case is still under investigation but that such actions would not be tolerated.
