Mass State Police continue to work to clear a major tractor trailer accident on the Mass Turnpike in the Sturbridge area.
An accident early Friday morning has closed the east bound lanes on the pike near Sturbridge.
No word on how long the pike will be closed.
State Police in Charlton tell WHYN News that they have no details and no indication as to how long the highway will be closed.
Slippery Roads plagued Western and Central Mass overnight.
The speed limit on the Mass Pike is down to 40 miles per hour.
