Police Crack Down On Holiday Impaired Drivers

State Police are planning a sobriety  checkpoint somewhere in Hampden County this coming Thanksgiving holiday  weekend.

The checkpoint will be late Friday night into early Saturday  morning at an undisclosed location.

State Police say the goal of  checkpoints is to detect and get drivers operating under the influence  of alcohol or drugs off the roads.
