The Boston Police commissioner is responding to an ACLU lawsuit.
Commissioner William Gross took to his personal Facebook page to post about the organization suing the city over a gang database.
The suit claims Boston Police are too secretive about how they monitor those suspected of being in a gang.
The ACLU alleges the system used targets people of color in disproportionate numbers.
Gross says the group is turning a blind eye to atrocities that gangs commit, and notes that the ACLU did not send condolences when an officer was shot in the face.
