Former students of Mount Ida College in eastern Massachusetts are suing.
A class-action lawsuit against the school and its administrators and trustees was filed in federal court in Boston yesterday.
It alleges that school officials purposefully misled students about financial problems before shutting down in May.
The campus is now being used by the University of Massachusetts-Amherst for career development programs.
