Springfield Fires Keep Crews Busy

Several residents are displaced after fires in Springfield.

The first occurred at the same house on Belmont Avenue that was also  hit with gunfire, but no one was home at the time.

Meantime, the same house that was hit by gunfire was the scene of a small fire.  Officials say that a "hot round" hit the side of the house catching part of it on fire.

A few hours later  firefighters responded to a bathroom fire at an apartment on Sanderson  Street.

An hour after that a third fire was caused by an overheated  electrical wiring, displacing seven people.
