A deadly Christmas Eve in Springfield.
A 33 year old has been shot and killed in connection with the shooting on Oswego Street late Sunday night.
Police were responding to a Shot Spotter call around 11:45 Sunday night.
The victim was taken to the hospital.
That victim, identified by the District Attorney's office as Rene Andino died late Monday morning.
It was the 18th murder of the year in Springfield with a week to go in the year.
There have been no arrests.
