A man is in custody for allegedly robbing a bank in Hampshire County on Christmas Eve.
Massachusetts State Police say Michael Taylor robbed a People's United Bank in Hatfield using a stick as a weapon and then led police on a chase.
Taylor, who is believed to be a Springfield resident, reportedly jumped from the car while driving on Interstate 91 in Holyoke.
Police say he was arrested near the Holyoke Canoe Club after a tree branch he was standing on broke.
