College: Letter On Inclusiveness "Poorly Worded"

A UMass Amherst student says she was told to take down a sign telling Nazis  they weren't welcome at her school over issues of inclusion.

The student, Nicole  Parsons put up the sign, which used profanity, in her dorm window after  she saw a swastika drawn over a Happy Hanukkah sign on another  resident's door.

She didn't think there would be as issue with her sign  but she got a letter from a resident director asking her to take it  down.

The letter said that while Parsons couldn't be forced to take it  down, doing so would help all students have an inclusive experience and a  respectful environment.

The school itself has since called the letter  poorly worded.
