A man is facing charges after allegedly crashing into a school bus while driving drunk in Hampden yesterday.
The Hampden Police Department says the vehicle hit the bus, then went through a guardrail and into an embankment on South Monson Road at around 2:30 p.m.
The driver, identified as Logan Martin of East Longmeadow, reportedly fled into the woods but was found after a search that included state police air and K9 units.
None of the children on the bus were hurt, according to police.
Arraignment for Martin is expected later today.
