Springfield Police continue to investigate an early morning shooting on Pearl Street which left one person hurt and taken to the hospital for surgery. Police have said very little about the incident in the 200 block of Pearl Street which is just down the street from the police headquarters. Police have said very little about the motive or whether there have been any arrests. Nor have police updated us on the victim who was last reported being operated on very early Saturday morning.
