Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni is planning to review another incident involving a Springfield police officer.
The D.A.'s office said yesterday that the investigation is being prompted by newly-obtained video of a fight at the High School of Commerce between a student and a member of the Springfield PD.
Gulluni said in a statement last night that this incident, along with the recent Jerry Bellamy case, highlights the need for a more consistent and transparent process for how police officer conduct is reviewed.
Bellamy was seen on surveillance video being manhandled by an officer after he went to the SPD to dispute a parking ticket.
