The American Red Cross had responded to 17 fires statewide from Cape Cod to Springfield since last Friday.
The response included helping with a neighborhood evacuation during Friday's massive industrial fire in East Boston.
It also includes five fires in Springfield and one fire in Worcester.
The Springfield Fires left 34 people being helped by the Red Cross.
In Worcester, a three alarm fire left 14 people homeless.
Red Cross assistance for displaced residents includes clothing, food and shelter in the first days after a fire.
