State Senator Don Humason is running for Mayor of Westfield.
Humason says he was interested in the post when learning that the current mayor, Brian Sullivan would not seek re-election.
Humason says his platform is based on what the legacy of the Whip City should be.
His goals include promoting economic development and jobs for Westfield,; growing the tax base; continuing to improve the city infrastructure; collaborating with city employees to find innovative and smart ways to best serve the children, adults, and seniors of Westfield.
