Phishing Scam Hits Baystate Medical Center

12-thousand Baystate Health patients are being notified about a phishing incident that impacted them.

An investigation dating back to February discovered that nine employees email accounts had been breached and that the compromised accounts contained some patient information.

A limited number of patients whose social security numbers were exposed are being offered a free one-year membership for credit monitoring and identity protection.
