Western Mass getting hammered with rain and hail...and there will be more overnight rain before things start to lighten up the rest of the weekend.
A tornado watch was in effect briefly for parts of eastern Hampden County. There are no such warnings now.
In Warren, strong storms, high winds and large hail fell for a time.
There were numerous power outages but it appears everyone has power there now.
On Carew Street in Springfield there was a report of a Fed Ex truck that crashed into a house right near Mercy Medical Center. It is unclear whether the weather had any effect on that crash. Police officials say the crash is still under investigation.
