Dean Foods, the manufacturer of Friendly's Ice Cream, is looking for a buyer of the plant where the product is made in Wilbraham.
A story in The Wall Street Journal this week indicates Dean has already received a half-dozen offers for various parts of its business, including the Friendly's operation.
Dean cited declining milk consumption in the U.S. Wilbraham-based Friendly's sold its ice cream-making business to Dean in 2016.
