Sarno Says Second Methadone Clinic Would Be Devastating To Neighborhood

Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno is putting out a formal letter of opposition to a proposed methadone clinic in the city's South End.

Concern was expressed at a neighborhood meeting last week about the clinic from Habit Opco, which is looking to relocate from its current location in the North End.

Sarno says the new clinic would be a devastating blow to the South End and says Habit Opco's management operations at its current site must be drastically improved.
