The American Red Cross says it has just a two day supply of blood.
Type O is desperately needed and officials say that if you give blood between now and June 10th, in thanks they will give you a 5 dollar Amazon gift card.
The Red Cross says that Type O is the most transfused blood in hospital emergency rooms.
All types are needed.
To donate you are asked to call them at 1-800 Red Cross to set up an appointment.
