Springfield Attorney Sees The Other Side Of The Law

A Springfield lawyer is pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a client.

James Martin of Amherst pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 in Hampden Superior Court and was sentenced to four years in jail.

Martin was accused of assaulting three women in separate incidents and is already serving a six-month jail sentence based on one of the cases.

In the case this week, prosecutors said the victim was a client who went to Martin's office to discuss her upcoming divorce.
