Planting Live Ammo Was All To Make A Point

A Southbridge teacher is facing charges after he allegedly placed a round of live ammunition in a school stairwell.

Alfred Purcell the Third allegedly wanted to make a point that Southbridge High School needs metal detectors.

Purcell is charged with unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying ammunition on school grounds and disorderly conduct.

He is free on $500 bail.
