Hundreds of teachers, parents and students in the Pioneer Valley rallied outside Springfield City Hall on Thursday in support of more education dollars.
The Fund Our Future movement specifically advocated for the Promise Act, which proposes an increase of at least one-billion dollars annually for public education funding, and the Cherish Act, which would add over 500-million a year for higher education.
Similar rallies were held in Boston and Pittsfield.
Both bills have already been introduced in the state legislature.
