Red Sox Star Concedes He May Have Played Last Game

Red Sox star Dustin Pedroia's career may be over as the Red Sox

second baseman will take an ''indefinite leave'' in his recovery

from knee trouble.

The 2008 AL MVP has played in just nine games

since the start of last season and has had to start and stop rehab

assignments a few times this season as his knee continues to give

him problems.

Pedroia will be placed on the sixty day disabled list.
