It isn’t a primary--- it is however a Preliminary Election.
And there were so many candidates for various offices that the city will need one to set up a runoff in November.
September 10th will be that prelim.
Five of the eight ward city councilors are unopposed.
Gomez, Fenton, Edwards, Allen and Ramos are all unopposed. Mayor Dom Sarno will be forced to run a preliminary race against at least two candidates and maybe more.
