More Than Half Of Connecticut Against Tolls

A new poll shows a lot of Connecticut residents are against electronic highway tolls.

According to a new Hartford Courant/Sacred Heart University survey, nearly 59-percent of folks were against the idea.

Supporters say the tolls are necessary to raise the money needed to fix the state's aging infrastructure.

Opponents say there shouldn't be tolls since Connecticut residents already pay enough money in taxes.

A special session on this issue is expected to be held in the legislature this summer.
