Priceless Effort For A Red Sox Veteran

The Red Sox took advantage of a Clint Frazier error and two other misplays in the outfield en route to an 8-5 win over the Yankees in the Bronx.

J.D. Martinez and Xander Bogaerts homered and David Price got the win as Boston avoided a sweep.

The Red Sox now move on to Kansas City to open a three-game series with the Royals tomorrow.

Eduardo Rodriguez starts for Boston, while KC counters with Jakob Junis.

The Sox are eight-and-a-half games back in the AL East.
