Senator Elizabeth Warren is proposing that the nation make a two-trillion-dollar investment in green manufacturing.
Warren offered the proposal during a visit to Michigan yesterday as she campaigns for the Democratic nomination for president.
Her plan would make investments in clean energy research and large government purchases of clean energy products.
She says the plan would be funded by a tax on corporate profits and by ending federal oil and gas subsidies.
