A 27 year old Chicopee man has pleaded not guilty in the shooting death of a man on Exchange Street last weekend. Daniel Caldwell entered his plea in Springfield District Court where the arraignment was moved because there were no judges in Chicopee Thursday. Caldwell is charged with the death of Charles White. Prosecutors have not eluded to a motive yet. Although Chicopee Police at the time said that the murder was not a random act. Caldwell is being held without bail.
