Springfield Dedicated 9-11 Memorial

Springfield dedicated a 9/11 memorial at Riverfront Park last night.

The monument includes a large beam from the World Trade Center which was donated to the city and lists the names of the hundreds of first responders who died. As part of the ceremony, those names were read aloud.

Former President George W. Bush's Chief of Staff Andrew Card delivered comments.

He told reporters that he continues to work to making sure the attack is not forgotten by the nation or the young people who were either not born yet or too young too understand at the time.
