Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse says he's going to make an announcement soon on potentially challenging Congressman Richard Neal for his seat in a Democratic primary.
Morse says he's been meeting with supporters and potential supporters from around the district, and that he has been very encouraged by what he has heard.
The website Politico was the first to report that Morse was considering a 2020 run.
Morse is 30. Neal is 70 and is the head of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee.
