Hampshire College Ready For New President

Hampshire College has a new president. It was announced yesterday that Edward Wingenbach has been named the eighth president in the college's history.

Wingenbach has served as the acting president of Ripon College in Wisconsin and will start the new position in August.

He replaces Miriam Nelson, who was at the helm when the school announced plans to seek a strategic partnership with another school and restricted its incoming freshman class, all over financial concerns; she resigned in April.
