Retired Red Sox legend David Ortiz says his continued recovery from a gunshot wound will require the same focus he had as a player.
Ortiz issued a statement through a spokesman yesterday, saying Big Papi will be back soon.
Ortiz left Massachusetts General Hospital on Friday, where he had been since shortly after he was shot in the Dominican Republic last month.
Ortiz also took to social media yesterday, saying he's glad to be home and is celebrating with family.
