Peter Pan Bus Driver Pleads Not Guilty To Reckless Endangerment

A Peter Pan bus driver is facing charges after she allegedly locked a woman in the luggage compartment of a bus.

The woman called 911 yesterday and reported that she was locked in the luggage compartment of the bus.

The bus was located in Union near the Massachusetts state line, and the woman was freed without injury.

Wendy Alberty of New Jersey is facing several charges after allegedly locking the woman in the compartment while she was retrieving luggage.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges of reckless endangerment, freed on 2 thousand dollars bail and ordered back to court on August 21st.

A spokesman for Peter Pan says they "are deeply concerned and treating the incident as our number one priority."
