A Massachusetts State Police trooper is being charged with drunk driving after a crash in Chicopee.
The state police says it can't release the name of the trooper involved because he was summonsed, not arrested. Officials say that the Trooper is from Troop B.
State police reports indicate the trooper charged was driving a pickup that struck an SUV on July 21st, causing several injuries, including one serious.
The trooper reportedly was placed on restricted duty and has not yet returned to work.
