Two people are facing an attempted murder charge after a robbery incident in West Springfield.
The West Springfield Police Department says a clerk at a Cumberland Farms store at the corner of Union and Park streets suffered multiple stab wounds from an unprovoked, ambush-style attack overnight Thursday.
The clerk was hospitalized and later released.
Officers arrested Christian Junco of Springfield and Catherine Terry of Holyoke, who face a number of additional charges, including armed robbery.
