Man Pleads Guilty To Illegal Loan Charges

A man is pleading guilty to illegal participation in a bank loan involving a Chicopee business.

The U.S. Justice Department says Anthony Riccitelli of Somerset entered the plea in federal court in Springfield on Wednesday and will be sentenced in December. Riccitelli admitted loaning 80-thousand dollars to Diecast Connections Company while at the same time working as a bank officer for Blue Hills Bank.

He proposed a loan package of more than four-million dollars without disclosing the private loan he had issued, according to the Justice Department.
