There are now 14 murders in the city of Springfield. Police have offered few details in connection with a Union Street shooting. Police were called to the scene about 4-30 Wednesday morning and found the man in the street. He was taken to Baystate Medical Center where died before noon. The 14 murders is still less than the 18 murders that were recorded in all of last year.
