A homicide is being investigated in Westfield.
Police say a body was found on the grounds of Stanley Park yesterday afternoon.
No identifying information about the body has been given by authorities.
Meantime, a Springfield investigation is continuing.
The Springfield Police Department is providing updated info on what is now being called a suspicious death investigation.
A spokesperson initially said officers responded to a report of a man who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound on Union Street early Wednesday morning.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at Baystate Medical Center.
The SPD now says the state Medical Examiner's office hasn't determined the cause of death, but has ruled out a gunshot wound.
