Third Death Reported From Triple E In State

A third Massachusetts resident has died after contracting eastern equine encephalitis.

The state Department of Public Health is not releasing any information about the latest victim, whose death was announced yesterday.

Ten humans have been infected by the virus this year, which is spread by mosquitoes.

The other two deaths involved a Freetown man in his 70s and a Fairhaven woman in her 50s.
