RI Sends Thousands Of Citations To Baystate Drivers

Rhode Island is sending Massachusetts thousands of notifications of its drivers facing serious traffic violations in that state.

It appears the 22 thousand notifications were never sent to Massachusetts before.

More than six thousand state licenses have been suspended since a crash over the summer in New Hampshire that killed seven people on motorcycles.

The crash allegedly was caused by a state driver who had been arrested for drugged driving in Connecticut a month earlier, but his license was still active.
