State House Easily Passes Flavored Smoking Ban

The state House has approved a measure that would ban all flavored tobacco and vaping products.

The ban would include menthol and mint flavored cigarettes, and would also impose a 75-percent tax on all vaping products.

The bill now heads to the Senate, which is expected to take it up this month.

Some senators are concerned that the state may lose business to Connecticut and Massachusetts who don't have that ban.
