One Year Later Recreational Pot Big Win

It has been a year since the first recreational marijuana stores opened in Massachusetts, in Northampton and Leicester.

Since then, more than 30 more have opened across the state, generating over three-hundred-million dollars in sales, according to the Cannabis Control Commission.

In a quote in the Boston Business Journal, Northampton Mayor David Narkewicz, speaking about the opening of New England Treatment Access, said he thought the experience has been positive for the city overall, and that there haven't been any major issues, nor a major uptick in crime.
