Hampshire College is maintaining its accreditation as it continues to try to turn around a dicey financial status.
The New England Commission of Higher Education made that decision late last week.
The college had faced possibly having the accreditation placed on probation or withdrawn as it went through its recent period of financial uncertainty, but the commission says Hampshire has made progress.
Even though a warning period has been lifted, the commission will continue to monitor the college.
