Postal Worker Sentenced For Bribery

A former vehicle maintenance worker for the U.S. Postal Service in Springfield is receiving a year in prison.

Kenneth LaFlamme, who had worked as a maintenance yard supervisor, was sentenced in federal court in Springfield this week after pleading guilty to bribery.

LaFlamme was accused of extorting a couple of local towing company operators to award them government business.
