Good news for drivers in West Springfield and Agawam.
The State Department of Transportation says that with the help of additional state funding, the work on the Morgan Sullivan Bridge will be done by August 9th 2021.
That's ten months sooner. Businesses are happy. Gene Cassidy --- the CEO of the Big E says that he is pleased with the state announcement.
As part of the announcement the state is contributing another one and a half million dollars that will allow night and weekend work.
