The Northampton Board of Health is not moving forward with proposed regulations to restrict cigarette sales from convenience stores.
The board made that decision after hearing from a number of vendors and their supporters at a hearing last night.
The ban would have limited the sale of all tobacco products to smoke shops allowing people 21 and older.
