Interesting meeting of the Public Health Committee coming up Wednesday.
State Senator Julian Cyr is a co-author of a bill which would create a pilot program for Food and Health.
The measure is similar to what most refer to as a FAM program...that is Food As Medicine.
The idea is that whole, unprocessed foods can help prevent chronic diseases.
The measure gets an airing Wednesday at 2 before the Public Health Committee.
