A lot of communities throughout the Commonwealth have been on this for awhile, now the state is considering a measure that would regulate those small nip bottles.
State Rep Randy Hunt says his bill would add the nips to the 5 cents deposit law.
It is a measure that failed a couple of years ago.
In Springfield, City Councilor Melvin Edwards has spoken on the issue and says that the issue has to be addressed in order to insure that the city stays as clean as it can.
Edwards says the issue is getting out of hand and something needs to be done.
The energy committee hears the measure tomorrow morning.
