No Jail Time For State Trooper In Overtime Case

A former State Police lieutenant is avoiding prison time with his guilty plea in the overtime abuse case.

David Wilson admits that he submitted claims for nearly 300 hours of overtime that he did not work in 2015 and 2016.

Prosecutors say he collected over 30-thousand-dollars in fraudulent overtime pay.

Wilson has been sentenced to spend two years on probation, serve 200 hours of community service and make 18-thousand-dollars in restitution.
